Listen to October Sky on their 2023 MSR release, October Skies

October Sky Ensemble is a mixed-instrument quartet (tenor, violin, cello and percussion) based in Blacksburg, Virginia that actively commissions, records, and performs new music. Our concerts and recordings feature a mixture of pieces for the entire quartet, as well as break-out ensembles (namely duos and trios). As a result, our music offers the listener a distinctive aural experience, never allowing them to pin down the unique sound that is October Sky.
